It’s not easy to look back on the last two decades, but here we are … 21 years later, SFO still Lives On!
On the bright side, we are 70% complete with our August 2022 Monthly Operational Costs, and thanks to the research efforts of our very own system4, SFO is now able to accept Crypto Payments in addition to regular/old-school PayPal donations! As always, things got tricky in the end, but good’ol system4 stayed on top of the Crypto world, as he steered our community AWAY from CoinPayments … and towards the shores of NOWPayments!

But on the less-brighter note, our community has also faced a number of crippling problems over the course of this year, including health and medical-operations issues with multiple key-community members, in addition to the harsh-times of the everyday life, have unfortunately prevented us from releasing the first Public Build of the Parsec SFO.
Our good friend NinjaRyu2009 has worked tirelessly over the last several months (sometimes around the clock) in his efforts to bypass the Winblows 10 bugs which have prevented us from running a parsec-friendly build of SFO inside the Microsoft Kiosk Mode. Endless bugs, as well as idiotic M$ registry/security and general-retardation policies have forced NinjaRyu2009 to re-build the Parsec Kiosk box over and over again, as more and more M$ bugs interfered with the work at hand.
Long story short, at this point we will have to make a decision whether or not to continue with the Microsoft Kiosk idea, or, seek alternate methods of securing Winblows 10 in a director-friendly SFO Parsec environment.
As always, stay tuned as more news will be posted in the upcoming weeks and months as the Parsec work progresses.
While we were NOT able to release a Parsec build in time for this year’s SFO Anniversary, rest assured that we will continue to make further efforts towards completing our immediate Parsec goals by the end of this crazy 2022 year!
And to all those who have NOT given up on SFO … and who have NOT lost their faith in the goals of this community … all I can say is … whether it’s now, or 21 years ago … DREAMS DON’T DIE AGAINST ALL ODDS!
